You’re 100% right about Sage. Otherwise I feel like they haven’t been quite sure what to do with the stakes since somewhere in season 2. Like I assume they have an end in mind and all the characters need to get there, but then Amazon says hey you get 8 episodes a season so everything gets simultaneously rushed and drawn out. I’m willing to bet that once season 5 comes out, you’ll have like 10 episodes of material stretched into 2 8-ep seasons. That’s how you end up with that Deep/Octopus shit and Hughie having nothing to do after his dad arc gets wrapped up so they just have been get sa’ed every episode for laughs.
