Meet me on the playground after school lil’ Stevie. After I pummel your Nosferatu-looking face, I’ll rightfully be the proud new owner of all of the possessions that were once yours.

I don’t think you’re what anyone is looking for. Might as well get used to being alone.

I scrolled past this just before this very scene came on as we were watching tonight!
Seriously - when I was a kid and just rode the old BMX around the neighborhood it was enough to hose it down every year or two, then douse the parts in some WD-40.
When I started cycling more as an adult I quickly realized that I needed to learn how to maintain my bike (and that WD-40 is no good). Now, I spend so much time keeping the bike tuned and running smooth. All the drive components, tires and brakes need constant upkeep and replacement.

There’s a whole series of these “Guide to the Birdsong” albums with similar artwork. Gives me Charley Harper vibes and I like it.

Commutation is not what the people of Colorado want, or what she deserves.

Morality or mortality?

I see this argument that he’s waiting for some excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act or impose martial law, but he’s already lawless…he doesn’t need an excuse as he’ll just do it anyway. Just like kidnapping the head of state in a foreign country, blatantly flaunting his corruption at every turn, targeting states that don’t bow to his whims. Even when those actions end up in court, they keep on doing their bullshit regardless (ignoring that he’s already bought the supreme Court anyways).

I think we’re well past impeachment as a punishment.

Caring for what?

Seriously. The anime and furry communities are nuts. I have blocked so many of them, and the people posting in them but it seems like every day there’s a new batch to filter out. Is there really a need for so many communities dedicated to that?
I believe Nidecker is Swiss and Northwave is Italian. Not sure where either are manufactured though…info might be available in their websites.
I liked riding bikes when I was younger, but it wasn’t until I was much older and finally got a bike that fit me properly that I found it was something I really enjoy and look forward to every day. A decent saddle, positioned well, makes a world a difference. Enjoy the miles!

Oh, and we can only be in one place… with family/in-laws in different places we always miss the ones we can’t be with.
I’d love if they reshot that scene with a grown Macaulay Culkin and just about anyone else. Give us the “enhanced edition”.

Both!
Since my kids were young, we’ve made it a tradition to go out to forest service land and cut down a real tree (with a cheap permit), which helps with wildfire mitigation. The trees are usually kind of scrawny and awkward as they’re not grown on a tree farm where they’re all spaced apart and tended to during their growth, but the experience is fun. We put our cheap, lightweight ornaments on that.
Our main tree is a fake one that we can put up earlier.

I have the same SDRE tee from the Diary anniversary tour. Plus, you’ve got a cat and chocolate pie - good life choices all around.
