Also rumors are that macron did not want to give it to Bayrou but he threatened to remove the backing of the modem and his MPs so macron was basically forced to. Lots of internal fighting at the moment as well in the centrist/liberal camp, previous PMs and ministers under macron now fighting and backstabbing, throwing revelations to the press, etc.
For anyone who doesn’t follow french politics the fact bayrou got the PM position is hilarious btw. And all the gov picks are like bottom-of-the-barrel rejects and opportunists, everybody knows this gov won’t last long and nobody wants to be in it. I think macron’s playing for time. Remember how people used to say the 4th republic was “so unstable” because of the changes of governments and that’s why it failed (which is not really the case)? We’ve had the shortest-lived governments in 2024 under macron, way shorter than the 4th republic ever got.
The recent series adaptation? I loved that one, I don’t get why people get so mad about it. I really don’t care for perfect fidelity of the material if it does interesting stuff with it tbh.

If it helps this could have been quoted from my journal like a year ago. Its hard, try to let yourself be guided by what feels right, I had a very hard time listening to myself, trusting myself, and even knowing how I felt. Its hard to parse genuine anxiety about things you don’t want to do, and the anxiety about what other people will think or say to you if you do them.
Fucking sucks ass. I hate it. It takes up to a week for me and the whole time I look so gross.
Last time it was a small enough amount of hair I just epilated the whole thing took like 2 hours and many tears but felt so much better than waiting with the gross burnt hair on my face and having to go to work with it.
There’s not much thay has grown back this time, especially since I have no shaved just epilated. Feels really nice. Its mostly super blonde/light hair left, which will probably need electrolysis.
I should say I use the term to mean something more than just the small baeddel groups that existed before. The rethoric is still alive and VERY spread out on tumblr, the old baeddel accounts are still around. Baeddelism the small movement might have been a niche overly online thing but the broader rethoric is still here, just more hidden now. Its gotten to the point where on tumblr if I see someone using the terms tme or tma I systematically check their other posts or who they repost, and almost every time I can find this baeddel or tirf stuff underneath. It made me very sad and anxious because you find it in very popular and well known accounts.
Terfs have found a way to remake arbitrary binaries and to use them for splitting the community more and more. Its a poison. You wouldn’t believe the insane harassment and drama that transmasc accounts on tumblr, twitter, etc… already went through.
I honestly think its a contributing factor to why there are less transmasc comrades here, because if you see a place that’s not actively fighting against this rethoric its fair to assume its been spreading there unknowingly.
