They all want to live in a detached single home (is that how you call it?), so not enough density for a store to make profit. Glad I don’t live there tbh.

Similar is scope, but a lot more voluntary though
I am not Muslim and to me cutting the throat of a cow does not sound like something God wants people to be doing to celebrate him. Aside from that, you are the one who gets to decide what you do as you’ll be the one bearing the consequences. Both the option of repeating it next year and not will have results you might like or might not like. Best advise I can give is to look at the reasoning behind why you would make a certain choice. Try to uncover what your intentions are. And this is in no way meant cynical, try to uncover what God wants for you to do.
Great step in the right direction I think, but I hope people won’t be fooled thinking this is a step from zero autonomy to full autonomy:

Mistral’s dual announcement of infrastructure and model capabilities signals the company’s ambition to become a comprehensive AI platform rather than just another model provider. With backing from Microsoft and other investors, the company has raised over $1 billion and continues to seek additional funding to support its expanded scope.
Maybe next time read the article instead of just looking at a image.
Police are investigating the damaging of property in Ballymena as racially-motivated hate crimes.
He might not be dumb, but he has been badly informed before. We can’t know what he thinks is true and what he thinks is not. But i agree it would be a dumb move if he went on waging war somewhere else too.
We also shouldn’t forget Russian command will be willing to do things Nato won’t, like bombing civilians or forcing people to join the army. They might for example threaten to execute a pow or retaliate by using chemical weapons. If two parties are not fighting by the same rules, it won’t be all about who has the biggest military power. I think you’re right on their losses not being sustainable, although I think they’ll be more likely to choose more desperate measures than they’d consider retreating.
You don’t need 100% of the population, just the people in power to make a decision and some people enforcing that. Even if 75% of Germans wouldn’t want to fight, you just need the one in charge to give orders to the next in line and it will travel all the way down the chain of command. No way there will be mass desertion because Russia attacked Nato somewhere.
2024 was a very different time it seems
I realised I had a lot of the recommended stuff laying around already, except for bottled water. I usually only drink tap water, but I feel a lot more prepared now I got some.

However, while the National Guard has been deployed against U.S. activists numerous times throughout history, historians say that the deployment of active duty Marines against Americans is unprecedented, and an escalation of anti-protest tactics at a time when Trump is grasping at every opportunity to seize power, suppress dissent and push the U.S. toward martial law.
A number of products from a brand of US sweets are “unsafe to eat” and contain ingredients which could damage DNA and increase the risk of cancer, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has warned.
UK businesses and consumers are being urged to stop buying and selling the Jolly Ranchers products, owned by US company Hershey.
The Federal Department of Justice and Police (FDJP), a Swiss authority responsible for overseeing law enforcement and public security, wants to impose a new rule that would grant it extensive surveillance powers over online communications.
Keep in mind, this change wouldn’t go to a vote in Parliament and could be ratified without much public disclosure. If enacted, private encrypted email and messaging services like Proton Mail, Threema, and others could be seriously affected. And don’t even get me started on what this could mean for VPN providers.
Moreover, users might be required to hand over personal information, like a phone number or official ID, making anonymous sign-ups nearly impossible.
And it gets even worse — organizations would be required to hand over user data in plain text when requested, except for messages that are securely end-to-end encrypted between users.

The defendants story makes up for it
Convincing marketing/lobbying maybe
Luckily the writer of the article understands that there is more to it than attracting ‘the best’ workers:
This week alone, US companies have taken over two UK tech businesses, and Mr Kassai doesn’t seem surprised.
“Shareholders, investors, board members are going to find the highest bidder and the US tends to pay more,” he said.
“There’s four times as much capital invested into startup companies than there is in the whole of Europe, so naturally when it comes through a sale, the US is often able to pay a higher price.”
A lot of advertising is annoying and misleading, even good advertising can lead to people buying stuff they don’t need. I am definitely not pro-advertising but it does serve more than monopolistic capitalism, especially on a more local level.
I 100% agree and totally get why I am being downvoted, but just disabling advertising or banning tracking cookies are not a magic fix to save the internet from the perspective of the companies that now show these ads. But I am definitely I favour of changes, the enshittication went way to far already. But there is more than big social media platforms is what I mean to say.
Some are more deadly than others though
