81·7 days agoPTB - one of the most blatant examples I’ve seen in a while.
YDI - they’ve made it clear that the community you posted in isn’t the place for that sort of question. Argue that it rides the line if you like, but they deem it a violation of their rules. Support would have been the right channel, and then it’s up to the instance admins to handle it from there. That includes further clarifying questions to the users who may be experiencing these slowdowns, a group that you’re admittedly not a part of.
YDI for the reasons others have already listed, and also Y’dDI here for your efforts to rule lawyer after the fact.

3·9 days agoTaking that cynicism one step further: JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs are both heavily pushing RTO mandates. Altering the optics of their DEI position can make them seem more welcoming to those who would benefit, thereby increasing the size of the pool of replacements for the remote workers they plan to dismiss.
