When I went to school that would have been an automatic fail. We had clear rules about what we can and cannot write with (fountain pen was the standard, but some teachers were fine with ballpoint pens too).
It’s never difficult. Wikipedia cites sources. It’s very easy to check if any piece of information has citations and what those citations are.

2024-12-07 is not “American style”, it’s ISO standard date format.
They have rules against using their services for that kind of stuff. Once they’re made aware of the rules being broken (which they were), they should enforce the rules by stopping service. The same as if you report CSAM on a website to the hosting service and they take down the site. The hosting service is not the one accountable, but it would get in trouble if it comes out they knew about it and didn’t do anything.
conflates sex and gender
I read the order. It explicitly avoids defining gender and says that only sex should be used everywhere (which it does define, but incorrectly).
It basically says that the government doesn’t care about your gender, they just want to know what’s in your pants (or used to be).

This is the order of play that makes most sense for that outcome. X starting in the corner or in the center is pretty much the same thing (can’t lose if playing optimal moves, can only win if O plays the side). O played wrong by not taking the center.

Laws have changed and he retroactively reduced sentences that were longer under the old laws. But yes, the reasoning for the change was that previous laws were unjust.

I’m too lazy to double check now, but afaik the problem with his voyage was the exact opposite. People knew that the earth was round and its approximate radius, so they knew that going all the way around the other side to India would be much too long of a voyage. What they didn’t know was that there was a whole other continent in the way.
