Oh word. I’m glad I don’t have that p320 anymore then
That sounds like exactly what I was hoping to get out of it. I have a G23 and Ruger SR40c for all the times I can effectively conceal one of them on my person. I was used to carrying a Pico years ago which has a strict capacity of 6+1 in .380 so the small capacity in a 9mm doesn’t put me off too much.
You weren’t kidding about the nano. There’s a clear relation there. I’ve ready a few other reports about the A1 carry hitting low too. The general consensus was the heavy and “gritty” trigger pull was causing an overcompensation in anticipation of the recoil. I’m hopeful a few hundred round of mindful practice can iron that out for me.
I had a sig p320 as my first firearm. It was excellent. I haven’t held a p365 yet I’d imagine they shoot and handle great. Aren’t they the ones with multiple alleged random discharges without a trigger pull though? I admittedly haven’t looked into the validity surrounding those complaints.
I’ll add that book to my list. A lot of people on Reddit were recommending Adaptive Rifle by Ben Stoeger as a valuable read too so I’ve got some homework to do.
I find myself in a similar boat. Having carried daily for about 2 years almost completely getting away from it for a number of years to just in the last few months getting a full size gun cabinet, new concealed carry permit and a firearm I’m confident is using in any scenario I can dream up. Feels like all Americans are likely to be exposed to more violence in the near future. Whether that’s just economic strife forcing people to resort to violence for their needs, politically directed violence or just dangerous people feeling emboldened to act. The last gap I needed to fill was a micro-compact I could carry without my kids constantly seeing a pistol on my body.
I certainly impulse bought this one based on the price and having a mostly positive impression of Berettas.
Very nice. From what I’ve read the APX A1 Carry and the original APX are almost not related at this point. How long have you had the APX?
That makes sense. It was a cool little gun while it worked. Thanks for your reply.
Very groovy. Thank you.
Good to know. Thank you
Excellent information. Thank you.
Right on. Thank you for the information.
Word. Great resource. Thank you.
Where do you suggest?
Training in the real plates will risk degrading their integrity pretty quickly then?
Excellent, thank you very much for your input. You pretty much covered all my bases.
I know it feels useless and tedious writing your representatives about why gun ownership rights are important to you but it is a necessary thing to do. Right now these officials are assuming the people who care about gun ownership rights are already not a reachable voting block. Being vocal about this to anyone you are eligible to vote for can help them remember there are votes to be won with that issue.
Im highly suspicious this will come with one restriction being lifted(no tax stamp for suppressors or something similar) but also give the feds the freedom to disarm law abiding citizens based on some arbitrary nonsense. They’ll try to appease their base while also giving themselves the unconstitutional authority to disarm anyone they see as an obstacle.
