Bees seem to love the catnip that grows in my garden at least. I think last summer I counted 8 different kinds of bees enjoying it.

As an engineer who’s worked exclusively with Linux for 25 years this meme makes me want to buy a windows license.

When I think of server hardware I think about systems with ECC memory, NUMA, SAS storage and backplanes, infinaband, redundant power supplies, out of band management and such that’s not available on desktop class hardware.

I’m still waiting to view them in that MMA ring. Whatever happened to that?

Right you can only retreat when it’s safe to do so, but what I’m saying is that if you’re legally carrying a firearm you can’t turn back around and confront people because if things do turn violent that will be used as evidence you were a willing participant, you didn’t retreat when you could have and instead continued the confrontation until it escalated to physical violence. FWIW I’m no expert but I have a permit to carry in MN and I feel like the instructor was very clear about this.

FyI. In MN you have a duty to retreat if you can before you can legally defend yourself. It’s very likely these women would be in jail if they had shot their assailants after confronting them. Unfortunately in MN you can’t claim self defense after confronting someone when you could have retreated. Very sad situation all around.

It’s interesting that conservatives would try to masquerade as libertarians, considering that conservatives are the one that want to and have tread all over our rights. Hopefully nobody is falling for it. They are essentially the antithesis of liberty and freedom; see voting, abortion, lgbtq rights, and on and on and on…

I’ve been looking into getting a heat pump in the northern US and for heating it doesn’t seem to be worth it quite yet. The problem where I’m at is that it gets very cold and natural gas is pretty cheap but electricity is expensive. I hope this changes soon. It would be a no brainer if I were replacing a resistive heater though.

No reason to avoid it. Just know that you can’t easily shink the filesystem, only grow it. To shrink you’d need to create a new FS then copy the data over manually.
