It only makes sense to use a nondestructive process to refine the antimony if you can make a profit on it, but with a 3% yield that is hard not only because of the small quantity, but it puts additional cost in refining out the iron later (or earlier). Again this is just wrong for not only the initial defense but for the totality of Barbarossa. Soviets had to field ~448 divisons over 3 years because they were fucked in 1939, so much so they disbanded their armored divisions to get more infantry.
