I don’t know much about the military, but I am very familiar with the marching arts. Discerning between two different tempos and keeping your feet in time with only one of them is a lot harder than it sounds. Unless there is time allotted to learning that skill specifically, I doubt any group of soldiers are going to do it flawlessly.

They may not fall apart, but its not going to look pretty. And apparently, it didn’t. If every soldier is capable of doing this, then why is there a whole post about how badly they did it?

True, but keeping time with the steps of those around you while music is playing at a completely different tempo is not something I would trust a non-musically trained soldier to do well.

My experience with Linux gaming has varied pretty wildly. My old r9 290x could hardly run anything on linux. And if it did, it would run horribly compared to on windows.

Recently I upgraded to an rx 7600, and nearly everything works out of the box or with minor tweaks. And it performs similarly to windows, even better on occasion.

Sure, but I wouldn’t recommend using a system that gets no security updates. Its more than worth upgrading or switching to linux to avoid that.

I’m tired of people that read stuff like this and assume the journalist is trying to discredit the source. This is journalism 101. Do not explicitly claim anything to be true unless you personally can independently and reliably demonstrate it. Its just to cover your ass so you can’t get sued.

I couldn’t help but notice a lot of those arguments are based on procedures described in the constitution, a document which is strangely being ignored a lot lately.

Personally I doubt he will get a third term, but its certainly possible, and he will almost certainly try.

It still likely would have been faster for him to write anything new in a new language. And, there wouldn’t have been anything stopping him from using existing assembly code in conjunction with another language.

I would say his motivation was pretty crazy. One person making a well designed and polished video game is a pretty incredible feat regardless of the language.
