LOL, talk about scale…
Look at Earth from space. The atmosphere is the paint on a marble, the rest is almost all core.
Lemmy: But we might use it all up!!!
And never mind how and why it’s hot.

Nope, you can dry it on a cookie sheet as I described.
Long before that.
In November 2022, it was renewed for a second and final season, which is expected to release sometime in 2025.

This is only news because of Gaiman’s news.
I’ve always bought used phones off eBay, won’t pay more than $150. There are sellers on there that recycle phones professionally, just like the off-lease PC companies do.
Lemmy: caPitAlIsm!
Well, stop buying new shit. I’d estimate 80% of the things I own were bought used, created by me or found on the side of the road and repurposed/refurbished.
That’s why I keep screaming at people to quit their shit jobs. We can whine and cry about pay and hours and management forever; and it’s just that, whining.
FFS, unemployment (in America) is basically at rock bottom and these people acting like it’s 1932. Our labor is our power, make employers compete for it. “Quiet quitting” is for losers, we should be using our leverage.
News like this is a win-win. Employers get a larger labor pool to choose from and employees get better jobs. Rinse and repeat and the tide will lift all boats.
And don’t forget kids! You are interviewing them every bit as much as they are interviewing you. You’re not at an interview to kiss ass and be fake. You’re there to see if the job is a mutual fit.
I would have been fired from about any company I’ve worked for if I leaked internal information. Business secrets don’t have to be evil, though in Meta’s case I’m betting shitloads are.
For example; I’d probably get canned if I told y’all the details on our loss prevention strategy. Because of course?!
3 days here, and yes, it took meth. Glad those days didn’t last long and are decades past.
Were you not hallucinating like a madman?! I’ve gone into total fantasy land after 3 days. Talking to people that weren’t there, my desktop wallpaper was trying to speak, all that. Nothing like LSD or shrooms.
That’s not too uncommon for me. Eat dinner at 7PM, don’t eat again until noon or so the next day.
They didn’t used to happen. And US civilians have been able to purchase the AR-15 since the 60s. Then Columbine happened.
Every time I see this I hear it in his voice.
Damn, major spoiler right in the poster.
We searched the city high and low for the CD. Took a long time to find one in stock.
Classical vampires could be stopped or slowed by throwing salt on the ground as they would have to stop and count the grains. Yeah, old-school vampires had some autistic traits.
Anyway, that’s where The Count comes from.
He was indoor for a few years, just too destructive because I didn’t pay him enough attention. Smartest animal I’ve ever met, needs lots of love.
Yes, he’ll cuddle, but he obviously didn’t get love when he was young. Not violent, but a bit prickly.
He’s maxed out at about 150-175lbs, looks like a medium-to-large dog (they’re dense). He could get way fatter, gotta keep them dialed in. Never watch a video of a pig with arthritis, make you cry.
Hey! Found a bit of muscle memory the other day!
Always carry in the woods, sometimes throw down on squirrels for muscle memory. Not like I’ve trained, mostly random, “You should see if you can actually draw and aim.”, kinda practice.
RUSTLE
Cool! Deer?
big black bear with two babies galumphing behind

Pistol magically appeared in my hand, safety off, low-ready.
Didn’t think about it. That was neat. Didn’t know if that would happen when the shit came down.
Because turnover drives competition for employees, which drives pay, which drives better management. And if it doesn’t? Then the company fails. But only if employees stand the fuck up. Kinda like how unions work? But yes, individuals can play the game as well.
Shit employees -> unhappy customers -> less profit -> training costs > less profit -> hateful employees -> less profit. Rinse and repeat.
LOL, there’s so much more.
For example: Hire a guy. OK. You now have to pay $X for state unemployment insurance until to dollar amount $Y. Guy quits? Pay $X until $Y, all over again. Rinse and repeat. Could have just kept guy and only paid once. Nope. Now you gotta pay twice, or three times, or four times, however many times that position rolls over in the year.
Y’all got you’re heads so far up your ass bitching about cApiTaLisTs, you forgot you have the power.
And who am I? I’m the guy with 4+ decades of employment experience, in many roles.
NW Florida, just got 2 dozen, $4.75 per. at Aldi.
