Eh, could be anything really. Could be just tiktok deciding to mess with trump. Could be many likely and unlikely scenarios. I just think that he took the money in exchange for health of the people of usa. It’s not anything new, many presidents have done it, and for me its the biggest form of betrayal. Who cares about revealing some state secrets about their enemies, when those enemies are already dead.

Fine point, I’m all for raising all of those games to 18+. But I guess this isn’t first of many but an exception to the rule.

Performative gambling is in no way worse than real gambling. If every other lootbox game got 18+ you would be completely right, but we need to look at the context for this.

Universal Paperclip, was expexting day, weeks or more of gameplay and there were 4-5 hours of good gameplay. It was perfect.

It’s because it is a positive thing. Just because awful businesses hijacked and abused it doesn’t mean it’s all bad. Mozilla is approaching it in a positive way imo.

The whole thing is dumb if you accept a premise of “infinite monkeys”.

If thats the point where you want to draw the line, I guess that it becomes dumb at exactly that point.

But the point of the thought experiment is that it says what you said: it will definitelly happen because infinity is absurdly big number.

Yes it is. It’s not some unobtainable solution like you need to give 1/10 of your pay or giving away your freedom. It’s easy, free and almost painless solution that will solve your problems. You can’t try to cure your lung cancer and continue smoking.

Ten years after critical mass protests in my city we have a lot (and I mean a lot) more pavements and bike roads (between pedestrian pavements and streets). I manage to get to my work in approximately the same time as with bus along with hundreds of fellow bikers.
