Oh, thanks. I will be patient then.

It just needed some time to sync to your instance xD
Pika
I think the community already has had a great start. Thank you for your support!
Thank you! I think it’s a bit more fun than some other Lemmy domains.
I had seen this a bit early, I could’ve approved you, so that you could skip over the requirements. Thanks for the help anyways!
Well, I am having trouble even registering indie-ver.se on the website. It says I am not guaranteed on fediseer, but the instance has been guaranteed by feddit.uk and endorsed by a few other instances. I’ve made an issue on the lemmy-federate GitHub and DM’ed the creator on Lemmy. Hopefully the issue can be quickly resolved.
I’ve tried to document the infrastructure around it, and made everything super organized, so that it’s both easier to maintain and hand over in case that’s ever needed.
Oh wait, IT COSTS MONEY?!? Oh noo… Anyway, I wanted the help smaller indie game communities get shown, so they won’t have to be spread across 20 different generic instances.

2·2 days agoMost of our visitors, already had a fedi-verse account, even those who found us via. reddit. So there haven’t been that many applications.
You are free to create the community yourself!
You are free to make one!
I think it’s my front-end which made the links into links with
[]()markdown syntax as well. I’m gonna fix that. Thanks!
Yea, that is to the post announcing we created this community. In hindsight, not the best decision.

2·2 days agoI SAW! Thank you so much. For some reason lemmy-federate.com doesn’t recognize it yet, but I see it on gui.fediseer.com. Thank you!
That happens on some frontends, like Boost. Works fine on the website!

14·2 days agoAlso the baltatro community !Balatro@indie-ver.se was made by the moderators of r/Balatro as they wanted to be a part of this to. I don’t think they knew of that community though…
Posting on r/Silksong helps a lot. We’ve been in contact with many moderators all across Reddit, trying to get them to join us, but that is still developing.

6·2 days agoHi everyone! For some reason, this instance weren’t receiving updates for posts made on this community and !Games@lemmy.world, even though federation is working for posts made on e.g. !Silksong@indie-ver.se
Subscribing to both communities, and then going to the post on an alt account, made all the comments on the post show up. Very weird.
