@box464 I’m still very early in the process, I just set up the server, now I’m looking into updating https://stefans-creative-bots.glitch.me. This project uses a Mastodon node.js library, and even though GTS has a great compatibility with Mastodon’s API, the library itself is not handling things correctly.
Now that I bring this up, maybe I can just look into opening an issue on GitHub, or forking it, it’s probably something minor.

Yes, I’m just experimenting now, but my idea is to run my own GTS server with all my bots on it.
Performance is definitely my biggest concern. I’d rather not have to spend even more money on my personal side projects, which, outside of a few bucks/month in donations to Botwiki generate no income.

Pretty sad, but understandable in both cases. And a big reminder that when you care about something, you have to actively care for it and support it.
And it’s not always just about money. Donate your time, spread the word. Don’t take things for granted.
