I’m shocked (haha pun) that it still worked but it did.
Also the cord from the power supply to the outlet ran next to the sink.

Pfft. I have trazodone.
I was once so broke that I couldn’t afford a case for a computer I had.
So I brought my computer to a LAN in a trash bag and set it up on the host’s electric stove.
Can confirm. It does everything you’d want it to do.
I’ve had a bowel obstruction. It’s not fun. Worst pain in my life.
This is the part when I’m supposed to say I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I would though.
Standard rules. Middle name and the street you grew up on.
Alan Woodbine.
Great uncle had the toilet but also an overhead shower directly above a drain. Right next to the toilet, of course. The floor wasn’t even angled to the drain. He used a mop to push the water to the drain.
It’s a great idea, I agree. But people have to realize that a good 40% of the country thinks that holding undocumented immigrants in a military prison indefinitely is hella balls-to-the-fucking-wall awesome. These people are not interested in striking and most of the 60% left over are worried they’ll get fired tomorrow if they don’t show up to work.
I invite you to imagine a state or local prosecutor indicting a member of the armed forces for carrying out an order given by a superior.
It’s mostly because “fuck you, I do what I want.”
Yeah it was hilarious when Intel did it.
The sentiment is appreciated, but this is fake. It’s taken from when Intel’s price tanked and they put out that Tweet.
I don’t understand the question.
Always Be Closing
Literally every family member I know of (including very extended family) lives in the USA. The vast, vast majority all live in Ohio.
We did talk about how my grandma’s grandchildren all live rather far away from her. Her sisters on the other hand…pretty much all their grandchildren live like a 10 minute drive away. Somehow we got the gumption to move away from the rural area we were from. They did not.
I will defend Skyline Chili as good food. This, however, is beyond the pale.
I think most people, if they simply didn’t show up to work for a day or two, would be fired. This is exactly why a lot of people would not strike. How many people are going to strike if it means they’re evicted next month?
Pornhub is the only one that I know of that is doing the blocks by state. They are a big enough target that the laws could cause them a lot of trouble, and they’ve said they aren’t interested in checking IDs.
The sum total of the laws is that people will either get their porn on sites that don’t care about the various state laws and/or they will learn about using VPNs to get around blocks.
They did do some damage control. But it was a pretty terrible thing for the CEO to say.
