I don’t think we should lose faith in people, that’s what all those in power want. The American people are constantly propagandized, most people can’t trust what information is true or false especially when it comes to politics. How do you know Kamala’s winning would even be better for vulnerable people? Roe v Wade was nullified under the administration she was a key part of. On trans rights she said she would ‘follow the law’. We would have the most ‘lethal military’ and a stronger border. And how many people voted for Kamala in her primary to earn the nomination? To protect democracy from Trump apparently we had to forego democracy.

It represents a large portion, but progressive policies are widely popular. Even in states Trump won there were votes passed to protect abortion access and increase minimum wage.

Most people vote based on vibes, and there were no progressive or positive vibes put forward by the dems this campaign. They signaled a ‘lethal military’, tighter borders, and sought endorsements from prominent Republicans, trying to win votes that would never go to their party anyway, alienating anyone who might have believed in the genuineness of the dems as ‘progressives’.

They are still evil though, why it always a choice of “evil vs evil”? We don’t have to have this electoral system, we don’t have to have these candidates, humanity can do so much better. The only way anyone against genocide or the corporatist status quo could show disagreement is by not voting. If democrats always have the lefts vote no matter what, then they wouldn’t even have to be lesser evil.

Trump isn’t an exception, if US presidents could be tried for warcrimes there would be several things to charge him with from his first term already.

The official death toll is around 43k but estimates range much higher, likely over 100,000. The entire healthcare system in Gaza has collapsed so they cannot identify and put an official tally on many of those killed.

She can say whatever she wants, she has been part of the administration funding this genocide, she could have used her position to be more firm about stopping the aggression from Israel but has been nothing but supportive, regardless of what sham talks of ceasefire they may have tried to claim. Supporting genocide seems like a pretty good redline to focus on though. When both candidates promise to maintain or increase the genocide, why does this sham of a democracy deserve to be supported? Obama sucks, Biden sucks, all establishment politicians including Trump don’t give a fuck about you. He calls his supporters idiots, he has said he doesn’t believe what he says to people but just says the things that his base wants to hear, like a TV entertainer, because that is his primary skill. He believes in nothing, and Kamala isn’t really better.

It’s possible to support people and actions that actually do help us all, there are many ways to help the country besides supporting sham politicians, who will do nothing to help us, will line the pockets of the wealthy and send more young people into endless wars.

Why do you think billionaires and CEOs love Trump? Because they know he will increase their profits, and he already has. This money comes from the lower class. The rich support the Dems too because they aren’t much better if at all when it comes to corporate greed and theft of the people.

Last time Lebanon and Israel were at war Israel lost. Hezbollah is better armed and trained now, and Israel is more isolated than ever. Israel is bombing civilian areas now, using terrorism because they cannot effectively stop Hezbollah rockets from hitting targets in ‘Israel’.
