Yeah this is what people often miss. Its okay and good to realize when certain groups are more violent, because that usually isnt entirely their fault, but rather the fault of the people forcing them to live in slums or otherwise bad conditions. But even just one layer of meta analysis is too much for many people i think.

Why wouldnt they be? Its vastly superior technology in almost every aspect.

Honestly odd to me. I mean its expected for any show to become irrelevant when it ends, thats normal. But the way it was hated on i dont get. The ending was exactly what was foreshadowed since the first season, but people were still confused and angry as if it was an illogical story progression.

I actually rewatched the whole thing starting last week and finished it today. All the characters make sense, they did what the always said they would. Maybe that was boring for people.

How could it be better when they just stole everything? The fact that its better basically proves that its not stolen.

Its almost as if every country, people and political situation is unique and requires a specific solution. Sometimes you dont need violence, sometimes you do.

Its impossible for it to not go to shit. The only way to prevent this is proper federation/account migration, because with those any server will just instantly die from users leaving when they start going bad. Lock-in is the biggest reason for everything wrong with the internet.

On a different note, NSFW content requiring an account on bluesky was the first reason that made me sceptical of it. There are lots of even better reasons ofcourse. The site will go to shit pretty fast i think.
