This looks fantastic! Wish i could get such a nice crust/border going, mine never rises that much.
Maybe it’s the Austrians 🤷
He, don’t slander. Thats not the kind of thing going on in Austrian cellars
I had an issue with 2 4k screens through my dock, but that was apparently my docks fault.
Using Pop for almost 2 years on nvidia laptop and pc, no problem, whats the issue?
…Ok no problem is a lie, but it wasn’t GPU related problems…
Doesn’t sound bad tbh…i like savory waffles. Don’t sugar the dough (no idea if thats a thing, just guessing) and you are good to go
Living in Norway, it always strikes me how disgusting smoking still is, even outside, when i go to central europe. You get completely unused to the amount of smoke and stink e.g. outside of stores
But air is empty space?! /s
I miss aldi/lidl so much in Norway 🥲
I need to look into MicroG again, i tried that once without root and it did not work right away… thanks for the reminder
Thanks, i will check if i can use shelter to resolve that. Did not even know this
I understand the sentiment, but it’s about the office building itself. My company rents one floor there and the infrastructure is provided.
I could get a work phone but i don’t want to produce electric trash sololy to unlock a door, if I don’t really have to. So thanks for the advice, I will check out shelter, I did not know about it.
Why not both? Well I guess thats kinda hard…but both of you are right…
Alright, I completely forgot about --release
because i normally use just to run my stuff. That brings part 2 down to around 400ms, i am okay with that for now :D
I’d like to see your solution in total.
I set it up a bit like a game, https://pastebin.com/FGA6E7fA
My part one hovers around 600 microseconds.
Ohhh, that says my part 1 is slow already, i was sure my approach for 2 was the problem. Good to know!
I dont change the map, i just record the steps in the hashtable. But maybe drawing on the map is indeed shaving some time off, thanks for the input :)
The binary search sounds smart, would reduce the pathing quite a bit i guess :)
Part 2 i approached quite the same i think, was only a couple lines of code additionally. But running 5ms 5000 times is also gonna take a while…
I feel every point you mention there :D
I am doing the same principle brute force but it takes ~7 seconds oO
Is using a HashSet<(Pos, Dir)>
for the loop detection so expensive? My CPU shouldn’t be THAT bad…
Part one around 7ms.
Also curious that i have not seen someone mention a more efficient approach, there gotta be one?
After their shit about the Phone unlock tool I would rather not buy Asus in the first place…
