    I actually much prefer synchronous to asynchronous communication (at least with people I actually like) as I feel like so much humanity is lost in a block of formatted text in response to another block of formatted text.

    At least texting is much better than email, you can still get some back and forth and spontaneity. My friends and I primarily use video or audio calls though

    Look, sometimes 15+min of texting back n forth can be more easily solved with 3min of call. I prefer text but sometimes ya just need a call lol

    unless specified, communication should be in kind .

    if i call, i would expect a call back. if i text, i dont expect a call back i expect a text back. if i email, i would expect an email reply.

    Im the robot and if you text me you will get a response in about a day and definately within a week and ti goes to my email so my reply will have my full email signature and likely your initial text as well as my text response.
