    @hallenbeck@mastodon.social because we’re back on a Meta controlled platform now and we didn’t ask for that.

    They now have a reason to be influenced by outside sources.

        @hallenbeck@mastodon.social because this place is supposed to be non-corporate controlled. Not controlled by 1 big entity. Not controlled by investors and executive decisions.

        This is enshittification at its finest…

          @BeAware@social.beaware.live A foundation like this isn’t “control”. It’s a foundation, not a governing body. If you don’t like corporations, have can you tolerate using the internet at all? Its infrastructure is riddled with corporate interest. ISPs, CDNs, cloud providers, telecom and cable companies, IXPs, hardware manufacturers, data centre operators. Despite that, we do still have an open, interoperable network of networks that is not controlled by any one of them.
