Back in the Windows XP days, not geting security updates was a death sentence for a pc. Even on a dialup internet, it only took minutes to get infected.
Ye and nowadays malware is bundled as a Microsoft product
So, MS should fix it? Seems like that’s entirely within their power as owners of the codebase.

I’m a windows user (also Mac and various flavors of Linux).
I’ve not had any issues with Windows since I installed 11. I rarely had issues with 10 and 11 seems just as stable.
so if one for some reason wanted to install windows 11, how are you even supposed to do it if you cant use any installation media for it? Just buy new pre installed computer every time? microsoft sure has started to dig after reaching the bottom
