I’ve been losing weight all winter so far by fasting. Built a home gym out of used stuff off locals. Next is navigating that whole gun ownership thing I ignored my whole adult life thus far, and signing up for training. My mom’s friend teaches at a Canadian Tire that has a gun range.
I’m getting prepared for hard times, whatever they bring. Hopefully not the USA invades Canada scenario. We’d get rolled.

Americans have no stomach for occupation, they pissed and moaned and ultimately surrendered to the Taliban, and that was on the other side of the world. and the cultures and appearances were so different they might as well have been Aliens.
They’d cry “terrorism” every day of the week, but the Americans would be torn to shreds by Insurgent activity on both sides of the border if they betrayed us. Much like how the Russians marched into the land of their “brothers” with assault rifles, and then wondered why people speaking their language who looked like them, were suddenly killing them all over Russia.
They once said that Ukraine would get absolutely rolled by Russia within 3 days, 2 weeks tops.
Never underestimate a pissed off underdog, especially when fealty to the US President is nowhere near as “strong” / co-opted as in the Russian Federation.
Sure, but Canada doesn’t have the budget to match the mega trillion dollar army the U.S. has.
However, I doubt they would find enough recruits willing to go kill Canadians. They’d probably conscientiously object, except for a handful of bozos. Not to mention they’d probably get sanctioned by every fucking country around the world.

At this point anyone advocating for or supporting Trump in Canada is guilty of high treason against Canada.
