Coming from this post, I made an online Moldovan friend & he’s asking me about life in the US :):

I for one just wear whatever Costco has for reasonable prices

    Nah.

In general, Hanes or Fruit of the Loom would be the most common brand. I haven’t seen numbers in ages, and have no interest in looking them up, but they used to be the top two (or bottom two, depending on if you want wordplay or not).

CK just show up in movies and TV shows more. Maybe even just stand out more than a Hanes, etc would.

No. They have great marketing and it’s clearly working.

It’s my “special occasion” underwear. One time I was looking for my black CK briefs and tried to put on my partner’s black CK sports bra instead.

What I don’t understand is why most (other) American men apparently wear boxers. Those are so uncomfortable!

P.S. Speedos are also way more comfortable than swim trunks but I don’t have the right body type and/or confidence to wear them in public.

Thongs are the way to go. Say goodbye to swamp-ass. Jockey makes really good ones.
