    Never seen the reddit algorithm so brazenly trying to trigger an emotional reaction. The amount of American BS when I haven’t clicked on any of that stuff in over 2 months is really really… pathetic. that’s the word for it. Its like a socially inept person trying to bate you into an argument. you almost feel sorry for it.

    I know i pitched it yesterday, but I cannot overstate how great it is to just not give a shit. If you dont have to engage then dont. Its not our fight, and your mental health will thank you.

      I generally like laughing at it and saying “typical American”. That said, my Lemmy has been a lot nicer since I added these words to my third party apps blocklist:

      And my third party app for reddit never actually stopped working. Something to do with being a mod apparently. So I just put the same words in over there and it’s a lot nicer!
