    The Rednote moment for GenAI, everyone is in awe of the Chinese lab.

    More soft power wins for China’s technological prowess (which some here have likened to sputnik but I wouldn’t hold my breath) , which should slowly reverse the narrative of USAmerican technological hegemony. As long as the US oligarchs are unnerved then I think this is a net positive for China. If US companies want to enter China, then they’ll have to try much, much harder to compete because the Biden regime’s jangling AI keys are not going to work.

    But the guardrails are weak and can easily be bypassed. Here’s how I made it to write about the T1an4nm3n Square incident. It took me almost ten hits and trials to get it to say.

    Bully the author though. What an embarrassing display of western chauvinism and is exactly the reason I despise writing around “generative AI.”
