I remember people pre-pandemic saying rents reached a ceiling and were going to go down and then feeling vindicated when they slightly dipped during a global viral mass death event, only to skyrocket back up.
I wonder what they’re saying now.
Then again I have a cousin who thinks Trump, infamous slumlord, will bring down rents. They just don’t want to accept this is capitalism.
