I left Reddit. Came here. Happy with my choice so far
I’ve used Lemmy exclusively since the day the Apollo iOS app stopped working. Don’t miss Reddit at all.
Same. But it was rif for me.
Reddit has said it is working to convince logged-out users to create accounts as logged-in users, which are more lucrative for its business.
So more blocking of content for lurkers. I wonder how long redlib will continue to work
You mean like allowing people to use apps? Like that?
What I find funny in Reddit is that it’s clearly a vassal state of Big Tech, but pretending to be part of it. No, you greedy pigboy - you don’t take the shots here, your suzerain Alphabet/Google does; a meaningful part of your traffic comes from Google Search, this means that Google can literally kill your platform if it desires so.
You could instead rely on a stable and loyal userbase, promoting Reddit by word-of-mouth. Oh wait, where is this userbase? “Landed gentry”, as you call it?
I’ll go further: given the recent political movements, I predict that Musk and his yellow-haired dog will go after Reddit, since Reddit quarantined and banned the dog’s sub. Pigboy will get wrecked in the process.
Straight guy question - does how much semen do you have to consume to think platinum blonde with dark roots works? I’m guessing it must be that or belly-shots of tequila from a 16-year old boy’s navel.
Straight guy comment - being gay isn’t an insult
Oh common, that’s the battle you chose to pick? There’s so much stuff wrong here and the hair is the thing that’s triggering you?
