It stops the second I unplug the fridge, and starts the moment I plug it back in.
Maybe my Google fu is weak, but I can’t find many answers. It never used to do this. And at least for now, the temperature is fine 🤷♂️

Yep the compressor runs, and when it runs you can still hear the ticking underneath everything. Fridge still stays cold. It’s been doing this for weeks, or months maybe, I’ve been pretty lazy about looking into it
That’s good news at least. I’d honestly be leaning towards the actual thermostat starting to fail. It should be contained within the box with the knob you’re turning.
Compressor stuff would be on the bottom, don’t think it has anything to do with this. Especially since things get cold.
Does the compressor short cycle? ( To off quicker then normal) Or just never shut off?
Sorry life got really busy, and doesn’t look like it’ll let up for a few more weeks.
The compressor seems to be running as normal, things are still cold. Just the constant ticking. Sometimes it’s quieter, other times louder.
I’m just glad it’s still kicking. I’m pretty handy, so I imagine I can replace the part pretty easily, just need to find time
