Trying to treat pancreatic cancer with a fruitarian diet despite catching it early enough to attempt effective treatment

Then buying a house in Louisiana so he could try to buy his way up the organ transplant list only to be told that you can’t transplant a pancreas and also that it wouldn’t cure his cancer anyway

Like, fuck, I have to laugh at it because Jesus Christi-cant

Like imagine catching an early break on possibly the deadliest cancer out there where surgery has abysmal success rate. The gods gave you a layup and you fumble it so bad. So you try to get another deal with the gawds after you spat in their face by buying that house and they give you the thats-why-im-confused motherfucker you wanted this

You can totally transplant a pancreas. Typically it’s done on its own or with kidney transplants as a last-ditch procedure for diabetes. I’m not sure why it wasn’t an option for him beyond maybe the cancer already spreading by that point.

It works in video games when I get stabbed, shot, burned, blown up, soul snatched. Why won’t it work in real life pronouns

My guess is this is probably 100% diet and exercise rather than healthcare as wealthy Americans will have access to very good healthcare already
