The aesthetic appeals to me and i like point and click games

      This also looks good. This kind of pre rendered aesthetic just does it for me. Like i can’t even play newer versions of myst cos the original is just timeless in its aesthetic

        It also had a sequel that was built with the original Xbox in mind which naturally meant it was a full 3D third person game instead of point-and-click. There’s also an episodic sequel series released on Steam but IIRC it wasn’t finished back when I played the first two games. Seems like it was completed in 2016, so I guess that was about 10 years ago

        Edit: lmao, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey was released on the original Xbox in 2006?! Probably explains why it didn’t sell gangbusters michael-laugh
