Frankly, I trust the Ayatollah with the Bomb a lot more than I do the Israeli Prime Minister or the US President.

Same. Iran is generally very measured in their actions, especially compared to Netanyahu and Trump.

It’d be nice if they reined in the IRGC and Quds Force, but then the US should rein in the CIA and special forces, and Israel should rein in Mossad.

Is supplying drones and ballistic missiles for strikes on residential apartments in Ukraine considered a “measured action” to you?

The US supplies weapons for Israel to strike residential apartments and residents directly in the head before dumping them in unmarked graves in Palestine.

So I would say there’s nothing escalating about what they are doing, and being a 3rd party arms dealer is a lot more measured than boots on the ground.

    K. Wait nevermind.

Grossi likened the development of a nuclear weapon to a jigsaw puzzle, adding that Iran “has the pieces and they could eventually put them together one day”.

What the hell is this bullshit? “Could eventually put them together one day”? This is fearmongering based on a nothingburger statement.

Well, they originally wanted to convince them to stop early. That ship has sailed.

It was during the era where most ppl thought it would be good to get rid of all nukes, to not destroy half the planet over an incident between two nations.

As russia has shown the world by attacking Ukraine, a nation absolutely needs nukes (or a trustworthy ally with nukes) to protect itself from russia. It’s sad, but we entered a new era of mistrust.
