im at a loss for words i dont understand anything anymore. it just got dark enough here so it was definitely a planned out thing. i hate fireworks on the “normal holidays” to have them but come on now

The veterans in my town begged the town council not to use fireworks for last year’s 4th of July
They town launched them anyway and a bunch of those vets pissed off the town chuds and got death threats

I live in a state that has legal fireworks next to a state that doesn’t and I live right by the state line so there are a ton of fucking fireworks stores and people shoot them off all the time. My poor dog is utterly toasted
The state on the other side of the line has legal recreational marijuana so it’s like everyone from my state runs over there to get stoned and everyone from there runs over here to blow shit up

i live in a very densely populated suburb and i don’t believe i’ve heard any in previous years either so i honestly think it was just a conservative 'Murica Hell Yeah thing. or for 420. or honestly could be both
