Highly recommend this mod / .INI fix for Steam Deck (and all systems honestly).
The forced Lumen tanks frame rates even on my 5080.
A lot of those new Unreal Engine “technologies” are quite terrible for the framerate. They try to make unoptimized scenes bearable, but traditional optimization techniques are so much faster, and adding Lumen/Nanite whatever on top just slows things down again.
Don’t support this shit company for churning out the same games for over a decade.
Ehhh this was actually a quality release that’s worth it imo if you’re a fan. Priced right too.
Looking forward to remasters like this instead of Skyrim re releasing for the 40th time. Looking forward to what they do to fallout 3

Yeah in an industry oversaturated with remakes and remasters that charge $60 full price as we’re entering an era where we’re trying to bump that up to $70 even $80 for a video game $50 is a statement I can get behind. Do I wish it was cheaper? Sure but I wish everything were cheaper right now in 2025.
It’s especially worth it since they actually put an insane amount of effort into the remaster of this game! Compared to industry standards this was crazy. Years of effort went into this. This wasn’t just a simple reshade HD upscale.

Firstly it is £50 here but nevertheless: prices you quoted are complete madness and absolutely shouldn’t be the case although I don’t doubt there will be people daft enough to pay these, the same as there are people around happy to pay few hundreds for a pair of “designer” trainers.
I would say 40 dollars should have been the base price. It was the price of a brand new game and this one clearly had a facelift. Most of my favorite bugs are even still there lol
Just pay the damn price so we can get a Morrowind remaster. Similar reason I paid full price for Dragon Quest 3 2dhd.

Morrowind should stay in the past where it belongs. I have less than zero faith that modern Bethesda would do it any sort of justice.
The modding scene is still cooking along 20 years after release and there are plenty of good graphics mods if you just want it to look prettier.
Yeah, I didn’t buy Starfield but I’m all over a good remake of a good game. Maybe they’ll eventually realize we like the older games for a reason and try to put that in their newer stuff. Either way, not releasing garbage is a fine strategy by me. I’ll eat crow if they release this remake 7 different times over the next 10 years though.
