Alright. I looked into it much deeper. There’s character development between some of the books, and they all come back in Noble House. But the Shogun book literally ends with a big cliffhanger, all the build up to a war…and then nothing. 😆
I don’t know whaly every one keeps saying that there was only one book. Clavell wrote 6 books that all have these same characters in it.
What? I thought the rest of the ‘Asia saga’ was rather loosely connected and nothing was a direct sequel to shogun
