    I did some digging based on your comment.

    The proposed pipeline is almost 3,000 km long. I am guessing that the sides are haggling on the details of who’s going to put up the money for construction.

    Additionally, a big chunk of the pipeline goes through Mongolia, so it’s actually a three-country deal.

    A third thing I’m seeing is there’s resistance from the indigenous Altai people of Siberia
