    It’s way worse than that.

They essentially crippled the standing for citizens to sue the states for violating their rights, so long as the states violate them the right way.

Obergefell v. Hodges was decided based on the Equal Protection Clause. This is the second ruling in the last few days that seems to go directly against that idea. I am honestly worried they are going to use these rulings as an argument that you don’t have to treat people the same in every state and overturn equal marriage among other things.

Similar terrible rulings regarding slaves and where they were legal and not legal were part of what led to the US civil war.

The filibuster is only used to block things republicans and centrist democrats don’t want to happen.

It has been used once since trump took office, to block nothing.

The Democrats are not blocking because they are complicit. They are not on your side.

It’s funny, I hate clinical people like you almost as much as the evil people doing this to us. Democrats are not complicit, especially when they don’t have any power.

Democrats may not be complicit, but the DNC sure as shit is.

They take money from all the same donors as the GOP and are using to it fight their own popular candidates. Which isn’t new, considering Bernie Sanders and the DNC torpedoing his organically grown young male audience so hard they voted for Trump.

The DNC told you to blame those who didn’t vote Hillary instead of admitting she was by far the least popular candidate among the young men that keep voting for Trump.

The DNC is unquestionably liable for favoring their money-interest candidates over popular ones, so the GOP just said, fuck it, run the popular TV idiot and have been winning since.

Literally, in the last decade the DNC fought in court for their right to pick their own candidates over the results of their own primary (& charter), then just fucking stopped having primaries all together.

To believe, unquestionably, that the DNC isn’t at least partially responsible for how fucked things are is admitting you do not understand the problem that’s fucking us.

Democrats are neoliberals. They believe in freedom of capital. They are for big corporations. They’re better than the Republicans, but they are not on your side. They are not the solution to the problem we’re in. They’re part of it. They’ve shown you time and time again they don’t care about you. This isn’t a party dispute. It’s a class dispute.

The solution is to take the few politicians who are actually with us, Bernie Sanders, AOC, etc and push the rest of them out. All the others are on the same side.
