No, knobs fail much earlier than keypads, from my experience. Give me a keypad to input the exact correct time.
My previous microwave’s knob would sometimes turn backwards while cooking, indefinitely increasing the timer and keeping the microwave on forever until you noticed.
Which is exactly what my microwave has. A knob for the time and a button to open the door. Bought it for 30€ last year and its a wonderful piece of technology.
My ideal microwave has zero smart electronics. Just a physical timer along with a switch to disable the bell.
