Two US Democratic state* senators from Minnesota were just assassinated by a MAGAt impersonating a cop who carried with him a hit list of 50 other senators he was going to kill. This is not outside the realm of possibilities in this day and age.
Edit: Looked it up, appears to be State Rep. Hortman (was confused as ‘US Senator’ means Senator to the federal Senate, not state-level House representative). Can’t find a second assassination though.
