Are we able to download these and transfer them to our kindles or other ereaders?
It looks like you can download all stories in ePub format, which pretty much all e-book readers can open.
For Kindles, which use Amazon’s own format, you should be able to easily convert these ePub-Files to AZW3 or MOBI using Calibre, for example.
