Funny but in this Model Frodo and Sam can kill the entirety of Saurons Army without risk. It’s a scenario even more cinematic than Tolkien envisioned.
But if frodo and sam had beaten saurons army, they would have been killed by mount doom.
Sauron dies in the next step. And then I’m not sure how much Aragorn cares for two half sized peasants lol.
So if it was white’s turn…
- Frodo and Sam annihilate Sauron’s Armies
- Mount Doom takes out Frodo and Sam
- A Diversion destroys Mount Doom
- Sauron tries to escape but the next turn A Diversion puts him in checkmate.

If Mt Doom just up and walks over to destroy the hobbit duo, slayer of armies, then the diversion would just advance onward, pinning and defeating Sauron.
