Is there any gadget or device you’d gladly buy again?
I received a free Logitech K380 loungeroom keyboard through some postage mishap with Dick Smith years ago. It’s a great keyboard because it also has a trackpad built in.
I bought it again later because they updated it with Bluetooth to save on USB ports. I’d gladly buy one again now if it had USB-C charging and multi-device connectivity, but I don’t think Logitech even make it anymore.
It would be great to connect one to the Steamdeck when connected to the TV for the occasional launcher screen like for Baulder’s Gate 3. We tweaked some BG3 settings so we could play local coop on the deck
I dropped my Sony XM3’s last night, this morning they were acting up, during trouble shooting I was checking OzBargain for a new pair fully prepared to replace them on the spot if needed.
Mine have been so good as well, but I got some cheap edifiers for work. When the time comes I might go for some more expensive edifiers. They won’t be as good but will I notice the difference?
I bought a kind of multi tool as a gift for a relative and have been meaning to get one for myself/the family car. It has a rechargeable torch which also has an emergency flashing alert beacon, a seatbelt cutter and something to smash car windows in an emergency. Hopefully I’ll buy but never need it.
I kind of have this with a jump starter my parents bought me a few years ago. I’ve only used it a couple of times and mostly on other people’s cars. We took it out a while ago and someone needed one when we went to a community farm recently so it went back in the car so we wouldn’t make that mistake again
The appliance can be used as a crockpot too. Just bring everything up to temp before putting it in the rice cooker, then set on keep warm for however long you need. Does great stews and pot roasts. I have done persian rice in a rice cooker and it came out great. I have been told (but haven’t tried) that a rice cooker does great fruit cakes too if you like fruit cakes.
I think they do. I used to have the old nexus 7 tablet yonks ago but the play store isn’t much competition to the iOS AppStore as far as music apps are concerned.

rice steamer and microwave oven
I use them all the time
I read a rice cooker is the one single trick gadget worth getting if you cook a lot of rice. I totally get that

Mine doubles as a yoghurt maker.
Yep. An iPad mini. Absolutely the perfect size for reading a variety of material from various sources.
Super slim, weighs bugger all and of course gives access to the AppStore for some handy music tools.
I would replace mine in an instant.
That’s an interesting one. Do they still make the minis? I know you can’t get a decent android tablet that size anymore
