I haven’t been listening to much new, lately, just throwing the mp3 player on shuffle…
I DID get a new (to me) pair of headphones, though, which has been fun. I had always wanted to try Grado headphones, but ended up with several other pairs over the years (currently a Beyerdynamic DT990 open-back are my main pair for home listening)… Well, I found a like-new pair of Grado SR60i at SAVERS of all places, for $6 in one of those little baggies in the electronics section. Great score! They do indeed sound as interesting as people say. Paired with the recent acquisition of a music player that can play FLAC, music has been sounding really good. I particularly enjoyed listening to Thank You Scientist with the SR60’s. Their music has so many tiny little details that get lost sometimes. The tight, detailed high’s from the Grado’s are great for all the brass and violin. A song came up on shuffle and I ended up just playing through 2 whole albums.
Somehow lost track of all my Moxy Früvous albums when migrating my music library a couple years back. Now they’re back in rotation and I’m jamming to songs I haven’t heard in a minute.
Just recently realized I have a few game soundtracks that came with gamesi bought on steam. So I’m currently listening to the mafia 1 and ARA soundtracks.

I was browsing on my phone on the couch so I scrolled youtube on the tv to play something in the background. There happened to be a Boiler Room video so I played it. Now I’ve been listening to hour-long sets of rave, trance, drum ‘n bass, and EDM.
An old album from a (punk) rock band I listened to a lot when I was younger: Beatsteaks - Living Targets (2002)
