@pathfinder What happens if I use Adopted Ancestry (Halfling) so I get Cultural Adaptability to get another adopted ancestry?
As I understand, adopted ancestry can only be taken once but pathbuilder seems to allow this particular combo.
You can’t take a feat multiple times, unless it states so in the “Special” section of the feat description, which Adopted Ancestry does not. So, this is just a bug in Pathbuilder.
I won’t comment on this specifically, because I just don’t know. But it certainly wouldn’t be the first time Pathbuilder allows a technically-illegal combo. I noticed it allows you to pick a key ability that’s available to any subclass of your class, not just your subclass.
I wonder if anyone has collated a list of all known cases of builds that Pathbuilder allows which the actual rules would not?
@Zagorath I’m looking at Rogue, Oracle and Barbarian and this seems to be a non-issue. Evangelize though might or might not be a bug since I assume its prerequisite doesn’t automatically preclude anyone else but clerics and champions.

Huh. You’re right, Pathbuilder seems to have updated so the issue I found a year ago is no longer there…but there’s another issue. I’ll create a separate post to discuss it though, to avoid getting off topic with your question.
