He’s decided people on a random speedboat in Venezuelan waters can be blown up on the assumption they’re drug smugglers, and people on the streets of America can be rounded up at gunpoint on the assumption they’re illegal immigrants or terrorists, all without any kind of due legal process.

By that logic any one of us could summarily execute him as a terrorist, rapist, tyrant and corrupt grifter, all with more facts at hand than any he’s used.

Of course the troops he’s bought would probably interfere and shoot that person, and if they lived to see trial his SCOTUS toadies would send them to prison.

Because it’s a pathetic cop-out to blame an unprovable bogeyman instead of accepting that Dem policy and actions are shit.

unfortunately, the DNC has moved farther and farther right with every election. Trump is their competition, so they only have to be slightly Left of him to be “better.”

Obama seemed progressive before he was largely neutralized by the establishment. then Clinton ran with Tim Caine (a Republican) as her VP pick. then Biden, who epitomized the stagnant gerontocracy the DNC has become, keeping the country on life support. then Harris (endorsed by Liz Cheney), who promised… cheaper groceries? somehow? now we’re supposed to rally behind Newsom, who’s branded himself as Trump-lite (and not just by antics alone - he’s very anti-LGBT, Tough on Crime™ and schmoozes with right-wing influencers.)

at a certain point it’s like choosing between Putin and Medvedev. we need to purge the DNC and start over, before the next election.

Quick correction: Tim Kaine was absolutely not a Republican. He was Democratic governor of VA 2006-2010 and chair of the DNC 2009-2011. Pretty milquetoast, standard, old white guy Democrat, not a Republican.

In general, I agree with the other stuff you said though.

People do not want to accept the truth that Donald Trump is an unpopular universally reviled figure who only wins elections because America can’t stomach having a woman in charge.
