The attached meme seems to do a lot of slut shaming, but it is also broadly criticizing a type of person… For instance, “combative and argumentative,” “drug abuse,” “boss babe,” etc. are brought up.

To criticize the characteristic of promiscuity succinctly, it will sometimes be indistinguishable from slut shaming…

Is it still valid, then, to bring these things up as negtives?

Or is criticizing sexual promiscuity always just none of anybody’s business and should be actively avoided by everybody?

“Is it still valid, then, to bring these things up as negatives?”

Within the meme, it not really explain why any of these things are negative. It just lists things that are suppose to be bad. For an argument to be good it should at least try to explain why promiscuity is bad. And even define what they mean by sexual promiscuity .

It also sates in the meme “submissive can’t cook’, to be honest I think this meme may actually be trying to be offensive . When I hear this statement, it sounds like the man is grumpy that the chick can not cook food for him to consume. There are a few ways to interpret this. One meaning is that the shitposter believes in specialized gender roles. With the males working to bring in an income and being the leader of the household. While the females perform the domestic roles, like cooking, cleaning and shiting out young ones. The idea perhaps in this poster’s view, is that it is better for people to get good and focus on one role, instead of being overwhelmed by many. They may even believe that one sex is more fit to do certain things then others. Another meaning, is the artist is simply a troll trying to get some laughs by pissing off Feminists or really any one who does not believe that woman are inferior (or at the very least believes that woman are rational enough to make decisions effecting themselves or others and do not need a guardian or an owner to take charge). It is also possible that the meme writer is actually a feminist themselves trying to make slut shamers look bad. By having the critic of sexual promiscuity, come off as sexist. They could group the two ideas as one and focus on attacking the less popular idea, with hopes of taking the other one down with it. Or maybe a guy got piss his girlfriend cheated on him, give him monkey pox, keeps blowing weed in his face. And he is hungry too.

Too lazy to answer the other question.

This entire meme is bullshit because if you simply substitute a guy in there instead of a gal then nobody gives a shit about the guy or they even celebrate the guy. So… this is 100% slut shaming along with some liberties taken to debase their character in additional ways.

Want to criticize promiscuity? Then do that… if gender is even mentioned, then it’s not longer about promiscuity.

But the meme is only an example, the question itself doesn’t mention gender once I think?

This is a good point. I also would say this… To criticizie promiscuity properly, you hve to criticize male promiscuity. That is absolutely the case. Fornication is bad, either way.

Let’s say, though, I had used a meme poking fun at male pickup artists (PUAs)… Would it get 5+ downvotes in an hour?

Men and women are not a blank slate, though… Even in rather liberated, forward minded socieites with great gender equality, it tends to be the case that men are more pursuant of sexual relationships, and that men also tend to be the greater amount of people deep into addiction to pxrn and other things…

Women who want to sleep with men can pursue a man, establish a long-term relationship and sleep with him… Or not. They can also sleep with many men.

But even very attractive men are like baseball players out there - a hot guy will have a batting average of .300+ when he is out approaching women randomly on the street, and we are talking about getting phone numbers here, not taking women to bed.

An unattractive male will struggle to pull an unattractive female on a Friday night out clubbing with that express goal… An unattractive male would not struggle much to even pull an average male.

That’s a lot of text just to say that there is not an exact 1:1 gender equal comparison here…

And so a male who sleeps with a lot of women is viewed as very skilled and lucky, because it’s VERY HARD to do that.

A guy has to be very attractive to sleep with 100 women who are average or above average looking in a year, and he has to be dedicated, really running through those apps and filling his week.

An average girl can sleep with 100 men in a year who are average or better by opening a single account & letting her inbox fill up.

So, I can’t track it down. I thought it was similar to a typical goat head you would come across in black metal. The closest I have found to it is this

      Found on ‘premium vector.’

      It does look familiar, though.

I am sure a year from now I will find the exact one somewhere, lol.

Or maybe let people be who they want to be and stop being so judgmental. You don’t like a girl, don’t hang with her. Doesn’t give you any moral high ground to stereo type who they are or what they choose. This meme is pointless and petty.

If we were to make fun of someone for buying name brand clothing, liking Taylor Swift, and drinking pumpkin spice lattes and there was a brutal meme to go with it…

      Would that be bad?

Are memes that make fun of people bad?

Or just memes that make fun of things you value are bad?
