Article is just a tidbit that they were notified he wasn’t on the “internal injured roster”. WrestleMobs are credited with finding that he was moved into the Alumni roster.
SRS has posted they’ve confirmed he’s gone, but they are “not sure the conditions behind Andrade’s departure as of yet.”
According to an internal WWE source, Andrade’s exit was under consideration for a minimum of one week, impacting the immediate creative direction following SummerSlam.
Talent spoken to were unaware of the situation, including Andrade’s departure or pending exit from the company.

He really has never met he bridge he wouldn’t burn down.
In fairness, he didn’t burn his AEW bridge. Tony wanted him to stay and offered him more than WWE did but he wanted to try and repair/salvage his marriage by going to WWE to be closer to his wife (which failed anyway), put over people on the way out, had a great C2 and left. TK would totally take him back today.
Is that the case? Because I do remember him getting benched for a while after getting into a fistfight with Sammy Guevara. He had a short comeback when Collision started, but started riding the pine again soon after.
Maybe I’m not understanding right (all of us outside the locker rooms are the proverbial blind men feeling the elephant, after all), but I kinda had him in the “I’m too good for this shit” club with Miro.
you arent wrong and those things did happen, but the things with he and Sammy were smoothed over, and he put over the people he was told to during his final stretch instead of Miroing, never got Fenix’d either. Pretty much the best of the departures.
Andrade left AEW on good terms, imagine he shows up for C2 time rofl
I wouldn’t mind him back in AEW

Jon Alba: Sources indicate to The Takedown on SI that Andrade was effectively released by the company, and that the departure was not a mutual decision.
