It sounds like it was penny pinching neoliberal austerity that did this as we forced the flies south by flooding the environment with so many sterile flies that they couldn’t breed a new population, got to Panama and then just stopped there, and then i guess stopped doing the maintenance they’d been doing continuing to unleash sterile flies in Panama so they’ve come back
If i were elected president I’d make doing that with mosquitoes and any other human parasite that transmits blood borne disease one of my core policy proposals

so a few weeks ago someone posted something about doctors making some sort of new findings about the utility of progesterone in aiding breast development in trans femme individuals and as a cis cracker I can’t help but stick my nose into everything and, on hearing that, I was aghast at the poor state of medical knowledge, because people should have known that about progesterone YEARS ago
as president I would dedicate billions making a national project of developing the perfect transitioning technology. I think my initial proposal was that we’ll develop a pod where you go in and it’ll be like you never even heard the word testosterone.
