May you find time this week to heal, to feel, to breathe, and to rest.

As always, we ask that in order to participate in the weekly megathread, one self-identifies as some form of disabled, which is broadly defined in the community sidebar:

“Disability” is an umbrella term which encompasses physical disabilities, emotional/psychiatric disabilities, neurodivergence, intellectual/developmental disabilities, sensory disabilities, invisible disabilities, and more. You do not have to have an official diagnosis to consider yourself disabled.

Mask up, love one another, and stay alive for one more week.

My primary doc is really nice, but I rarely need to see them as my chronic conditions always need a specialist (diabetes as well as celiac’s disease). My endo is pretty decent and competent, however, she is legally forced to ask me certain things that I don’t want (a pump and CGM), but that’s hardly her fault. My other permanent doctors are either competent or competent and nice, and at this point I’d rather have a competent doctor than a nice one. I’m just always happy when I meet a new doc and they’re nice on top of everything else.

My chronic issues will never go away, so there’s that. But the unemployment could be fixed eventually. I will resign myself to unemployment for the foreseeable future tho. And I’m taking a lot of rest (and light exercise) but what can I say, it’s stressful being alive these days, so no matter how chill I am, I can hardly relax properly.

Thank you for your kind words sweetie, I appreciate it meow-hug
