Yes that’s a part of the reason I selected it, efficiency and cost being a part of it. The decision to include roof-mounted photovoltaics was driven by the need for energy resilience at job sites rather than primary propulsion. The frame’s architecture is inspired by the “cab-over” utility of traditional Japanese Kei trucks, modernized with a “monobox” wedge profile to improve aerodynamic efficiency. The battery storage is integrated into a skateboard chassis configuration located flat between the front and rear axles.
