Opening their home to the public each Christmas is something the couple said brings happiness not just to visitors, but to themselves as well.
“We open up our house to visitors to bring joy and happiness to all who come,” Lisa said. “It is important to us as it also bring us much happiness and joy too, being able to build a display which brings people back year after year.”

Hmm, not sure what you’re saying? That the pictures don’t show any christmas related displays?
Those puffy Bluey and Bingo Lights are popular this year. Click through to the article though, theres more pictures of Santa, grinch, snowmen, reindeer, etc.
Christmas is about Christ, not inflatable bearded old man. While Santa is part of the culture, we should not forget what is actually about.
Oh, I see. Well thats your beliefs. I think the article does quite well highlighting the charitable and commmunitarian drivers of their lights display though. Isn’t it important that a religious belief can see the presence of god in many and all things otherwise it risks becoming idolatry.
But as I say this, i know I’m going way out of the bounds of my specific knowledge and beliefs, so i’ll caveat all of that with the fact that religious belief isn’t my gig. I’m just trying a friendly challenge of an alternative perspective in the discussion.
